Preparing

Just Nice To Look At

This past weekend was all about "preparing" for the holidays and for foul weather that may come our way.  I rearranged the living room to accommodate the Christmas tree etc.  That always involves vacuuming under stuff and doing some deep cleaning.

We then went to Lowe's and we bought things for winterizing.  Then went back home and cleaned out the gutters... getting all the old leaves and tree needles out of there.  Those wonderful Fall leaves end up in the gutters.  The weather was nice and we felt the opportunity was closing.

I feel accomplished and feeling on target of getting things done.  I could always do more though.  We have Tuesday off this week due to Veterans Day.  I can regroup and see how much more preparing we have to do.

    Hi Danna! We are in the winterizing mode too. We have been getting things prepared as well. Since we will be driving to Fl. to visit with our son, dil, and granddaughter in the first week of January, we are cutting down on how much we decorate this year. We usually decorate every room! Hugs!
